On the morning of April 21, 2016, Thai Nguyen University (TNU) has held the ceremony announced the decision reappointing the President of TNU -Prof. Dr. Dang Kim Vui covering the  term 2016-2021 at TNU University of Education.

After the successful completion of the appointment of Dr. Dang Kim Vui as President of TNU for the  term 2011-2016, it was the unanimous consensus of the majority of officers, managers of TNU, the leader of the provincial party Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training on the reappointment of Prof. Dr. Dang Kim Vui. On April 7^th 2016, the Minister of Education and Training signed decision No. 1119 on the reappointment of  President of TNU as people's teacher, Prof. Dr. Dang Kim Vui..

The ceremony was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Pham Manh Hung, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Manh from the Ministry of education and training; the central agency representatives: Mr. Nguyen Van Dung-Vice Rector of ethnic cadres and the different managers; Representatives of Committee of Thai Nguyen province : MA. Trinh Viet Hung-Deputy Chairman of the provincial people; and from various departments : Ministry of education and training, the television / radio, the State Treasury, the military commander committee of Thai Nguyen province. In addition, the event was also attended by representatives from some schools:  Hung Vuong University, Viet Bac University, Tan Trao University, Viet Bac high school, and the Director of the Central General Hospital. While from  TNU, the comrades of the Party's steering committee, the TNU civil servants, trade unions Standing Committee, Secretary of the Youth Union graced the occasion in honor of Prof. Dr. Dang Kim Vui’s ceremonial annoucement of reappointment as TNU President.

During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Dang Kim Vui expressed his gratefulness with delight and honor to receive the great responsibilities and duties as a President of TNU for term 2016- 2021. He pointed out with determination to make 9 important projects in all fields (education, training, assessment, infrastructure projects, among others) for the continuous growth and development of TNU focused on the state-of-the-arts requirements towards international integration. To achieve this vision, besides his personal efforts,  the Professor also hopes to receive the solidarity shared by teachers, staff members, students in the University and the different departments of the Ministry of education and training. Along with that is the promise of determination of Prof. Dr. Dang Kim Vui: “I will make every effort to complete my duty, put TNU into new heights of development worthy of one of the leading institutions of the country for international integration”.

Also at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Manh Hung-Secretary of the Party Committee, and concurrent Vice Minister of education and training, has noted the comprehensive and impressive results in time to receive the Mission of Professor Dr. Dang Kim Vui and he hopes the Professor will continue to inherit his accomplishments of the past years, continue developing TNU with prowess for the term 2016-2021.

Full of excitement and enjoyment  was in the air during the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Dang Kim Vui received bunches of flowers from different units. Finally, the ceremony on the announcement of the decision reappointing the president of TNU for the term  2016-2021 concluded very successfully.
