THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY CELEBRATED ITS 20 YEARS OF ESTABLISHMENT AND RECEIVED THE SECOND CLASS LABOR MEDALTuesday, February 3, 2015
In the morning of April 4, 2014, Thai Nguyen University solemnly celebrated the Celebration of 20 years since the Government promulgated Decree of Thai Nguyen University’s Establishment (04/4/1994 – 04/4/2014). The celebration was highlighted by the awarding of the Second Class Labor Medal which was presented by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Politburo Commissioner, Deputy Prime Minister. The Commissioner gladly bestowed the honorable plaque of recognition for Thai Nguyen University.

With the desire to help the poor children and highlanders, in January 18, the TNU Voluntary and Advocacy Club (TNU-UCT) combined with other clubs to organized the "Cosy Winter" in Ten village, Dong Hy District, Thai Nguyen.
On 17 March 2014, the delegation of US Embassy in Hanoi headed by Mr. Terry White - Public Affairs Officer - paid a visit to Thai Nguyen University.
On January 18, TNU Youth Union organized a Special Celebration in recognition of the hard work and diligence of the deserving youths of TNU, anchored on the theme “The Spring of Students - Together We Light Your Dream”. This occasion was arranged in honor and recognition of selected youths, namely: those who belong to the disadvantaged families, those who excel in their studies in recent years, and those who dedicate their service following the advice and teachings of President Ho Chi Minh.
Up to 2014, Thai Nguyen University enrolls students throughout Vietnam with total enrollment quotas of 11,185 students for bachelor degree and 1,645 students for college level.
On March 22th, 2014, TNU University of Information and Communication Technology (TNU – UICT) in collaboration with the Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM) to organize a convocation ceremony for 169 students of Master of Business Administration joint-training program, course 2011-2013 and 2012- 2014.
From 22nd to 23rd February, 2014, TNU International School organized the Standard English Test Input for Course 1 and course 2 students. In order to meet the requirements for advanced training programs, this competition is considered one of the compulsory tests for all full-time IS students to achieve at least an IELTS band 4.5.
In the morning of February 12, TNU University of Information Communication and Technology (TNU-UICT) organized an international scientific workshop on the theme "Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Standard in Health for middle and low income countries".
On January 11, 2014, at 3 sites in TNU University of Agriculture and Forestry and TNU University of Technology, the Red Sunday Festival was organized by Tien Phong Newspaper in collaboration with the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and TNU.
