One scholarship of £10,000 will be automatically deducted from tuition fees. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of financial need. The application deadline is 31 May 2014.
Applications are invited for Beijing government scholarships from international students studying or applying for studying in Beijing. Duration differs with respect to the subjects chosen. It takes around 4 to 5 years for undergraduates, 2 to 3 years for Masters degree candidates and 3 years for PhD degree candidates. The duration varies for Chinese language students, general scholar candidates and senior scholar candidates. An applicant receives financial support from other Chinese government scholarship programs or organizations/agencies would not be eligible for the Beijing Municipal Government Scholarship.
University of Kent is offering taught masters overseas scholarships for international students who are liable to pay overseas students’ fees. Two overseas scholarships will be awarded for pursuing LLM programmes at the Canterbury campus. The first scholarship will provide tuition fees at the full overseas rate along with living expenses. Oxford Brookes University is offering three international foundation scholarships. Scholarships of £1000 each are available for international four year foundation programmes. Applicants must have received and accepted an offer on the International Foundation Business and Technology or the International Foundation Arts, Humanities and Law starting in September 2014. Awards will automatically be deducted from the tuition fees. The application deadline is 30 June 2014.
Applications are invited for up to ten available PhD positions for Erasmus Mundus doctoral program in Interactive and Cognitive Environments (ICE). Students will be enrolled under a three year employment or fellowship contract leading to the acknowledgement of a joint or a double PhD title recognized by ICE partner universities. The selected candidates will be in receipt of a fellowship of €2,800 as gross monthly salary for living expenses financed by the EACEA (European Community) through the ICE Consortium; additionally, Cat. Wellcome Trust is offering research fellowships in Basic Biomedical Science. These research fellowships provide an opportunity for postdoctoral scientists from across the remits of the Trust’s funding streams to become independent research scientists and undertake high-quality research in an eligible Republic of Ireland institution. Fellowships are tenable for five years. Fellowships may be taken up on a part-time employment basis, where appropriate. Successful candidates for this scheme may be considered for a Wellcome-Beit Prize Fellowship.

Cranfield University is offering research studentship for all UK/EU and international students. This research studentship is awarded for one year and includes a generous tax free bursary, plus fees. There will be an initial training period in Ghana or the UK, followed by a ten months trial of the technologies in Ghana run by the student. The project write-up will take place during a one month stay at Cranfield University at the end of the project. Applicants must have a first or second class honors degree or equivalent in a related discipline such as engineering, chemistry or biology.
The Hinrich Foundation offers 4 full scholarships to study Master of Arts in international journalism at Hong Kong Baptist University. Scholarships will be awarded for one year taught master course starting in September 2014. Applicants must be citizens of India, Myanmar or Vietnam. They must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, be fluent in English and able to meet all academic, entrance and other requirements of the university.
