These postgraduate fellowships are awarded up to 140 students per year for PhD study and research. Applicants must be maximum age of 35 years on 31 December 2014. These postgraduate fellowships are awarded for 4 years which include maximum 1 year study of courses and participation in centralized training, including 4 months compulsory courses in Chinese Language and Culture and Practical research and completion of degree thesis. Application deadline is 28th February 2014.

The International students who do not have Dutch nationality can apply for the fellowship. Eligible candidates must be able to prove their academic excellence, must be admitted to a preselected Master’s degree at VU University and have not graduated from a Dutch higher education programme. Students must have excellent academic results with strongly motivated students. The scholarship covers tuition fee, allowance towards study and living costs, accommodation and insurance. Citizens of Developing Countries (except G-20 Countries) are eligible to apply for these grants. Grants are awarded on merit in amounts up to USD 12,000 and these are intended for the purchase of basic tools for research: equipment, expendable supplies and literature, as well as field activities. Scholarships are offered for up to a maximum of 3 years and cover 50 per cent off the cost of tuition fees for your research programme. Applicants must be a new full-time international research student and must have applied to join a research programme at the University of Brighton and been offered a place for 2014 entry. Applications for research scholarships are considered at three points during the academic year: the end of June, the end of October and the end of February.

Citizen of a country from outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) are eligible for this Bachelor’s or Master’s degree scholarship. Scholarship covers 25%, 50%, 75% or up to 100% of the tuition fee (scholarships are toward tuition fees only and that living costs are not covered). SBE Non-EU Scholarship at Maastricht University in Netherlands, 2014

The amount of the scholarship is € 11,500 per academic year. The scholarship is renewable every year for the duration of the bachelor’s programme on satisfying the mentioned condition. Each scholarship recipient at SBE is assigned an academic advisor with whom they are required to meet regularly to monitor their academic progress. 15th April 2014 is the application deadline.

Scholarships are provided in Science & Engineering. Applicants can pursue a PhD degree in any field of study for which they can demonstrate interest and capability. This scholarship is available for pursuing PhD degree level. The application deadline is Jan 1, 2014 for August 2014.
