Scholarships are awarded to pursue master programme in Development Studies (MDEV) and International Affairs. The Institute can provide support in the form of full or partial scholarships to students with proven financial needs. In cases where financial needs are equal, decisions will be made based on academic merit. Application deadline is 15th January 2014.
The Melbourne International Research Scholarships (MIRS) are awarded to international students who wish to undertake graduate research degree studies (e.g. master’s by research, PhD or other research doctorate) at the University of Melbourne. Each year the University offers about 200 new Melbourne Research Scholarships (MRSs), of which about 150 are normally awarded to international students as MIRSs. Selection will be based on the eligibility criteria and academic merit. The application deadline is 31st May 2014. Applicants will get a RHD scholarship outcome before 31st July 2014.

Scholarships are provided in Science & Engineering. Applicants can pursue a PhD degree in any field of study for which they can demonstrate interest and capability. This scholarship is available for pursuing PhD degree level. The application deadline is Jan 1, 2014 for August 2014.
University of West London is offering 100 international ambassador scholarships. Students are eligible to apply for the scholarship if they have been offered a place to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of West London, commencing in September 2014. DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) is funding master scholarships in Public Policy and Good Governance at German institution in Germany. A monthly scholarship rate of currently 750 € will be awarded. The scholarship also provide health insurance, travel allowance as well as a study and research subsidy and in applicable cases accommodation subsidies and / or family allowances. Student must have first university degree. The scholarships are available to both for young graduates without professional experience and for mid-career professionals. The courses are taught in German and English language. The students must have university degrees that have been obtained during the six years before applying the scholarship
Applications are invited for about ten open doctoral positions at International Max Planck Research School on Multiscale Bio-Systems and its partner institutes in Potsdam and Berlin. Students accepted for the project will receive a research stipend for three years. Applications of Master’s and diploma students in physics, chemistry, biology or material sciences with a good knowledge of English will be encouraged. The Hungarian Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), on behalf of the Government of Hungary is offering fellowship programme for the students of developing countries. The fellowships are available for pursuing master (MSc) degree in the field of Agricultural Sciences, Horticulture and Rural development and agribusiness. The Fellowship will cover tuition, books and subsistence costs for the entire duration of the course. The awarded students however will be responsible for financing their travel to and from Hungary. 28th February 2014 is the application deadline.
Foundation of the Republic of Austria is offering scholarships for international students (except Austrians). Maximum 100 scholarships, the quota depends on the budget are offered. Students working on a research project in a master or diploma programme or doctoral students are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Scholarships are offered for max. 4 months. All scholarships are based on competition. Application should be submitted till March 1, 2014.
