Friday, January 3, 2014Oxford Brookes University is offering three international foundation scholarships. Scholarships of £1000 each are available for international four year foundation programmes. Applicants must have received and accepted an offer on the International Foundation Business and Technology or the International Foundation Arts, Humanities and Law starting in September 2014. Awards will automatically be deducted from the tuition fees. The application deadline is 30 June 2014.

Friday, January 3, 2014Applications are invited for up to ten available PhD positions for Erasmus Mundus doctoral program in Interactive and Cognitive Environments (ICE). Students will be enrolled under a three year employment or fellowship contract leading to the acknowledgement of a joint or a double PhD title recognized by ICE partner universities. The selected candidates will be in receipt of a fellowship of €2,800 as gross monthly salary for living expenses financed by the EACEA (European Community) through the ICE Consortium; additionally, Cat. Students will receive €7,500 for travel expenses. The application deadline is 13th January 2014.

This research studentship is awarded for one year and includes a generous tax free bursary, plus fees. There will be an initial training period in Ghana or the UK, followed by a ten months trial of the technologies in Ghana run by the student.
