STUDENTS OF THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND FORESTRY CONDUCT INTERNSHIP IN JAPAN 2017

On 13 April 2017, twenty-three (23) students from TNU University of Agriculture and Forestry left for Japan for their seven-month agricultural internship program. A pre-departure orientation seminar was provided by the senior staff/officers pf TUAF-International Training and Development Center (ITC) before they left for Japan.

According to the schedule of the 7-month program in Japan, before leaving for Japan, students spent more than 5 months learning Japanese and physical working out at  Dormitory of ITC, TNU-UAF. In addition to that, students learnt how to answer interviews, working style and practices in Japan, rigid orientations and knowledge in soft skills in order  to equip them with the most complete knowledge for the successful internship in Japan.

Dr. Thao, Hoang Thi Bich Thao - Director of ITC stated that Vietnam lacks further training and exposure of human resources in hi-tech agriculture, therefore they selected 23 students to have the opportunity to study and practice directly with the most famous agricultural technology in the world. The student-interns need to pay full attention and efforts to understand and apply the attained skills and knowledge on coming back to Vietnam. This is an important new point that offers great opportunities for students but also requires them to develop further self-awareness, diligence, and sense of responsibility on their return to Vietnam.
