Announcement for English Test in Vietnam 2014

The Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) of Academia Sinica (Taiwan) has been offering free English proficiency test for Vietnamese students who are interested in applying for the admission to the TIGP (http://tigp.sinica.edu.tw/).


Dear Prospective Students:

Greetings from Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan!

 The Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) of Academia Sinica (Taiwan) has been offering free English proficiency test for Vietnamese students who are interested in applying for the admission to the TIGP (http://tigp.sinica.edu.tw/).  This year , we would like to continue  this project.  In the coming February(2014), our test team will go to University of Science, National University of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam National University to hold the English reading and writing test.  Students who pass the test will be interviewed by our TIGP professors.  Every student officially admitted into TIGP will be offered NTD 34,000 (USD 1,133) per month when studying in Taiwan. We welcome who are interested in applying for TIGP to take this opportunity to participate in the English test.

For those who wish to take this free English test, please read the following note carefully:

1. 

To be eligible for the English test, the applicant must send a complete application form online before Feb. 17, 2014.

2.  

This test is designed for applicants applying for admission to TIGP as an alternative to TOEFL and IELTS, and is NOT applicable elsewhere.

3. 

A valid passport/ or local ID bearing a photo and the same number as in the submitted application form must be presented to the proctor before the test; other identification documentation will not be accepted.

4.

This test is held for whom will apply for TIGP

Dates and places of the English tests are scheduled as follows:

Feb. 25 (14:00-17:00) University of Science, National University of Ho Chi Minh City
Feb. 27 (14:00-17:00) Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam National University

Once we receive the completed application form, a confirmation letter with the test time and venue will be forwarded to the applicants by Feb. 20.
