Mission:

The Training Department of the University is mandated to act as an advisory board of the Director of TNU on university, college, middle class and vocational school training missions, to build a data-based system of training regulations, and to provide instruction for the deployment of training tasks.

Functions:

Builds and determines annual enrollment quotas of the different training units of TNU;

Provides enrollment for the official and nominative training systems; instructs, monitors and arranges the systems of training considering addresses and trainings according to social demands, connected training, in-service training, and second-diploma training;

Manages training programs by opening new training systems, reviewing training programs, and managing major codes and training names;

Arranges training programs for the different units of TNU, conducts a review of teaching-learning methods, and sets teaching standards for lecturers;

Establishes regulations and instructions for the member units in planning development, compilation, and publication of textbooks;

Provides regulations in managing and awarding of diplomas to TNU graduates, and in some cases, in canceling diploma/s to disqualified or erring graduates of TNU;

Coordinates with the different departments of TNU in the implementation of regulations and policies for the lecturers of TNU training department; and

Coordinates with the different departments of TNU in conducting inspection and in checking the training tasks of the member units.
