History of development

Thai Nguyen University (abbreviated as TNU) was established on April 4, 1994, by Decree No. 31/CP of the Government on the basis of the restructuring and organization of universities in the province of Thai Nguyen. TNU is a regional university that conducts scientific research and provides multi-level, multi-disciplinary education in the fields of education, agriculture and forestry, healthcare, economics, engineering, information and communication technology serving the midlands, mountainous regions in the north, and the entire nation.
