MOTIVE - 1 OF 300 BEST PRACTICAL PROJECTS IN THE WORLD

On April 12th, 2021, The MOTIVE project (Monitoring Trends in Vietnamese Graduates Employment) was voted by the International Board of Global Actors and Business for Sustainability, Entreps (United Nations Partner) as one of the 300 best sustainable practical projects in the world out of a total of 5000 candidates from 126 countries. This voting result is a recognition of the efforts of all the participants of the Project, as well as the motivation for them to continue to complete their tasks in the coming years.

MOTIVE project operates under the leadership of Alma Laurea, Italy, funded by Eramus+ of the European Union in the period 2020-2022. This is a transnational cooperation project built on the basis of multilateral partnerships, among European developed educational institutions and universities around the world. Thai Nguyen university (TNU) is one of 9 universities/colleges in Vietnam participating in The project; in which, Hanoi University plays the role of national coordinator.

The MOTIVE project is implemented with the following specific objectives:

+ Strengthening the capacity for universities/ colleges of Vietnam to receive tools and methods for collecting, storing and monitoring graduated leaners data, meeting the general requirements of the Ministry of Education Training of Viet Nam (MOET);

+ Developing the capacity for universities/ colleges of Vietnam to be able to exploit data on graduated leaners; thereby assessing and ensuring their training quality;

+ Enhancing cooperation in graduated leaners monitoring between MOET and universities/ colleges of Vietnam;

+ Expanding the connection among the training programs of universities/ colleges of Vietnam with the needs of society and the real situation of the labor market;

+ Building a National Center to track graduate's ability to access the labor market and succeed in their careers, and increasing opportunities for Vietnamese learners to access the labor market.
