Since being established, TNU – Lao Cai branch focuses on not only improving the quality of training, professional knowledge but also strengthening skills and social awareness with the goal of creating a generation of students who can develop comprehensively and meet the requirements of society.

From February 18 to February 21, 2019, the Branch organized training courses on music, dance and painting for students to  improve their study skills, critical thinking and creativity, build positive relationships in life, get the experience to discover and overcome their limits.

In addition, one of the most important benefits of art education is to make learners understand and respect different cultures, and various values of society. The American Education Foundation explains: "Art education becomes a shared bridge, an understanding glue about how we perceive ourselves and others. Therefore, whether they are students of tourism and travel management services or students of agriculture and forestry (crop science, animal husbandry, natural resources and environment management); the courses on music, painting and dance knowledge are very useful for them as well.

With the goal of training good students with expertise, ability to adapt to all domestic and international working environment, the Branch has constantly improved its training program, and built a friendly learning environment, actively striving to become a prestigious regional and national human resource training center.
