TNU UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCES RECEIVES CERTIFICATE OF MERIT ON SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ORGANIZATION

In the morning of 04 January 2014, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the Ministry of Science and Technology and other agencies organized the award ceremony for ” Young Scientific Genius in Vietnam” for the year 2013.

In the morning of 04 January 2014, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the Ministry of Science and Technology and other agencies  organized the award ceremony   for ” Young Scientific Genius in Vietnam” for the year 2013.

At the ceremony, the Steering Committee of the Award Ceremony   warmly congratulated the achievements of students who have conducted outstanding scientific researches. The committee has commended and rewarded 276 students who achieved the first , second  and third prizes. Also at the ceremony, Hua Thi Kieu Oanh, a student of Bachelor of Literature, Course 8 of the TNU-University of Sciences (TNU-US), has garnered the second prize, on the subject: “Wine Culture of Nung An People  - Cao Bang”,   guided by the Dr. Pham Thi Phuong Thai,  Dean of the Department of Literature-Society), who formerly received  Certificate of Recognition from MOET. Considering  the list of general achievements of the TNU - US for the year 2013, the student groups garnered the third prizes, as follows: (1)  Duong Thi Ngoc Chi, Pham Thi Lan Hue, and Hoang Thi Tuoi ( Department of Life Sciences), under the guidance of MA.  Le Thi Thanh Huong on the subject “The Medicinal Plants of  Dao Ethnic People  in  Thai Nguyen Province”; and (2) Duong Van Hop (Department of History),  has also achieved the third prize on the subject “The Social Structure of  traditional villages at  Pho Yen District through the document of village regulation”, under the guidance of MA. Do Hang Nga.

At the awarding ceremony for the Year 2013, the TNU-University of Sciences is highly honored to  receive the Certificate of Merit in the field of organizing scientific research activities of students from the MOET (out of  22 units).

With this result, students of TNU - US  has received  this honorable  Award for the second time. The first time was in the year 2012, while the student group of TNU- US had gained the first prize on the subject “The funeral rites of  San Diu people at  Dong Hy District - Thai Nguyen Province”.
