TNU APPLIES IC3 STANDARD TO LECTURERS AND OFFICIALS

IC3 (Internet and Computing Core Certification) is an international standard for computer and internet use issued by Certiport - US. This ensures the required qualifications and skills to use the information technology in the era of digital technology today, performs all the requirements of the progress of integration and globalization towards the mutual recognition, and serves the labor exchanging between countries in the region.

This ensures the required qualifications and skills to use the information technology in the era of digital technology today, performs all the requirements of the progress of integration and globalization towards the mutual recognition, and serves the labor exchanging between countries in the region.

In the realization of the strategic direction of construction and development for the period 2011-2015 and the 2020 Vision of TNU on basic and comprehensive innovation on education and training, TNU has implemented project to set IC3 standard to its lecturers and officials. The Project’s goal is to meet requirements of industrialization and modernization under the condition of socialist-oriented market economy and international integration, contributing significantly in building TNU to become the e-university for the period 2015-2020.

Specifically, the Project IC3 aims to:

- Develop and implement the roadmap on standardizing IT for officials and lecturers of TNU; and to enhance the skills and knowledge of  exploitation and application  of IT in the management, operation and innovation of teaching methods; and

- Propose solutions and the roadmap for the standardized output of general information for students who are not IT educated, to have access to international standards, and to ensure the quality of graduates and requirements of the employers.

In the recent time, TNU has implemented classes for lecturers and officials in order for them to reach the standard, then to cleverly apply to their works.
