Announcing the Chevening Full Scholarship Program for the academic year 2020/2021 in the United Kingdom

The Chevening Scholarship is one of the UK's most prestigious and highly competitive scholarship programs, sponsored by the UK Department of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and partner organizations. This scholarship program is put into operation with the goal of providing financial support to individuals with leadership qualities who are interested in studying for a UK master's degree.

Launched in 1993 in Vietnam, more than 400 Vietnamese students are currently receiving Chevening scholarships. In the 2020-2021 academic year, Chevening offers 24 full scholarships for UK masters programs. Especially this school year, Chevening has an additional 10 scholarships for candidates planning to attend schools in Wales. 
Detailed information about the submission process for the school year 2020-2021 is as follows:

1.Study level: Master;

2. Study time: 1 year;

3. Scholarship value: full scholarship includes:

4. Number of scholarships: 34 to 38 scholarships (including 10 scholarships for candidates planning to study in Wales);

5. Fields of study: unlimited;

6. Subject: 
- Being a Vietnamese citizen; 
- Never received a British government scholarship; 
- University graduate with GPA of 7.0 / 10 or higher; 
- At least 2 years of full-time work experience; 
- Commitment to return to Vietnam to work for at least 2 years after completing the course; 
- Meet the English language proficiency requirements of the program.

7. Scholarship value: Candidates are covered with all costs, including: 
- Tuition; 
- Monthly living expenses; 
- Cost of making a UK student visa; 
- Return plane ticket; 
- Airport transfer fee and some other supported expenses.

8. Route 
- Start receiving applications from August 5, 2019; 
- Candidates apply online at before November 5, 2019 ; 
- March, April: Interview. 
- July: Notification of results. 
- September: Going to school.
