Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) is offering scholarship for international students. Applicants must be citizens of a country given in the ‘Eligible List of Countries’ and satisfy any specific criteria established by his or her country or government. This scholarship is applicable for undergraduate program of maximum four years, master’s program of maximum two years and for PhD program of maximum four years. Applications will be accepted from January 1 to March 15.

University of Tokyo is offering masters scholarship for international students within Graduate School of Science. This masters scholarship provides a monthly stipend of 150,000 yen. The stipend will be paid into the bank account quarterly after getting the confirmation of enrollment. Scholarship will be awarded from April/October, 2014 to March/September, 2019. Application deadline is April 30th, 2014 for October 2014 intake.

Jacques Hadamard Mathematics Foundation (FMJH) offers 6 master scholarships for foreign or French students. These master scholarships are available only for the second year of a master degree program in Mathematics for Life Sciences (Master2 MathSV) in one of its member institutions. The stipend is 10,000 euros per year. Students will also receive a lump sum amount to cover tuition fees, basic health care and travel expenses (for foreign students). The German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) is offering 60 doctoral scholarships to young scientists from all disciplines for carrying out research in the field of environmental protection. Scholarships are awarded for three years. Each scholarship is initially awarded for a period of up to one year. After reviewing the progress of work is usually an extension of one year each. In addition to above-average university degree is expected from the chosen thesis topic that is of high relevance and can contribute to solving problems in environmental protection and nature conservation. Proton OnSite is offering scholarship for high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding achievement, excellence and community service. Each scholarship is one to four years in length and to be eligible for renewal, students must remain enrolled full-time and meet all criteria of standard academic progress as established by their university. The student must also maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 while in college. Proton OnSite will award college scholarships of up to $100,000 total / $25,000 per year. Citizens of China, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mexico, Peru and Colombia can apply for this disability scholarship. The program does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation or disability. The competition is merit-based.
