PROF. DR. NGUYEN THI KIM LAN WAS HONORED AT THE CEREMONY "VIETNAM’S GLORY - IMPRINTS OF 30 YEARS OF RENEWAL"

In the evening of May 20, in Hanoi, the Central Selection Council of "Vietnam’s Glory- imprints of 30 years of renewal" and the General Confederation of Labor of Vietnam co- organized the awarding ceremony to give due honor and recognition to 30 groups and individuals who had outstanding achievements in the construction and renovation of the country. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Lan, former Vice Rector of TNU-UAF was one of 18 individuals honored at the program.

The ceremony was organized to honor the groups and individuals who have made special contributions to socio-economic development, science, technology and security, national defense; and had shown distinctive exemplars in the patriotic emulation movement, building and defending the country during the course of 30 years of renewal. The program expected to arouse patriotism, determined willpower, and creative labor spirit for the development of the country towards the goal of strong people, democracy, justice, and civilization.

Among the exemplary ones honored this time, there were many excellent individuals who were constantly researching and finding new solutions to solve effectively the in-need problems, bringing fame to the country, such as Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tri, Director of the National Institute of Hematology - Blood Transfusion Center; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, former President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Lan, former Vice Principal of TNU-UAF, Mr. Hoang Xuan Vinh, World Olympics’ Gold  Medalist,  to name a few.
