After a virtual meeting discussing the collaboration between Thai Nguyen University and Leaders Institute in Queensland, Australia on September 17^th, 2024, a face-to-face meeting was held at Thai Nguyen University in the morning of September 23^th, 2024.

The Leaders Institute representatives included Professor Denise Austin, Vice President and Professor Harvinder Singh, Program Director of Leaders Institute. The host delegate consisted of Associate Professor Tran Thanh Van, Vice President of Thai Nguyen University, Doctor Mai Anh Khoa, the Head of Department of Sciences, Technology and Foreign Affairs, Doctor Do Le Ha, Deputy Head of Department of Academic and Learner Affairs, and the Heads of International Office from university members.

At the meeting, Associate Professor Tran Thanh Van briefly introduced about Thai Nguyen University. Professor Harvinder Singh introduced about Leaders Institute, which offers a comprehensive range of programs in accounting, agribusiness, agricultural technology, business, commerce, and management. Master of Business Administration (Agribusiness) and Master of Agricultural Information Management are exclusive to Leaders Institute in Australia. These programs would be potentially exchanged with ones from university members of Thai Nguyen University.

The meeting opens a promising vision and leads to potential further step of collaboration between the two partners. Then in the afternoon, the Leaders Institute Guests worked with representatives of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry to discuss some possible joint or exchange teaching and research programs in the fields of Biotechnology, Food Technology and Food Safety.
