HEC Paris is offering MBA scholarships for local and international students. Students must have completed an undergraduate program at an accredited university. These Need-Based scholarships are designed for only those applicants who require financial assistance to achieve their goal of joining the MBA program for September intake. The amount of the scholarship varies from €6,000 to €24,000. The amount is deducted from successful candidates’ last installment of tuition fees. No full scholarship is available from HEC. The applications for scholarship will close within a week of admission.
RNTC is offering fellowships for developing countries‘ students. RNTC’s Fellowships are available for professional journalists, programme-makers, broadcast trainers and managers. RNTC Fellowships are unlike NFP fellowships Partial: they cover the course fee (up to 50%), not the costs for travel and accommodation. The fellowships will be awarded on academic and professional merit.
Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) is offering scholarship for international students. Applicants must be citizens of a country given in the ‘Eligible List of Countries’ and satisfy any specific criteria established by his or her country or government. This scholarship is applicable for undergraduate program of maximum four years, master’s program of maximum two years and for PhD program of maximum four years. Applications will be accepted from January 1 to March 15.
University of Tokyo is offering masters scholarship for international students within Graduate School of Science. This masters scholarship provides a monthly stipend of 150,000 yen. The stipend will be paid into the bank account quarterly after getting the confirmation of enrollment. Scholarship will be awarded from April/October, 2014 to March/September, 2019. Application deadline is April 30th, 2014 for October 2014 intake.
Jacques Hadamard Mathematics Foundation (FMJH) offers 6 master scholarships for foreign or French students. These master scholarships are available only for the second year of a master degree program in Mathematics for Life Sciences (Master2 MathSV) in one of its member institutions. The stipend is 10,000 euros per year. Students will also receive a lump sum amount to cover tuition fees, basic health care and travel expenses (for foreign students). Application should be submitted till February 9, 2014
The German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) is offering 60 doctoral scholarships to young scientists from all disciplines for carrying out research in the field of environmental protection. Scholarships are awarded for three years. Each scholarship is initially awarded for a period of up to one year. After reviewing the progress of work is usually an extension of one year each. In addition to above-average university degree is expected from the chosen thesis topic that is of high relevance and can contribute to solving problems in environmental protection and nature conservation. INSEAD Business School offers MBA scholarship for students of developing countries. Scholarship up to €25,000 will be awarded to students with limited financial means. To be considered for this MBA scholarship, applicants must demonstrate financial need. Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) annually offers IRO Doctoral Scholarship for students from Developing Countries in Belgium. The IRO Doctoral Scholarships are only granted for doctoral programmes for a maximum period of 48 months and eventually for one pre-doctoral year as preparation period for the doctoral programme. Applicants may choose a research topic proposed by one of the KU Leuven Doctoral Schools: Humanities and Social Sciences Science, Engineering and Technology Biomedical Sciences or applicants may propose their own research topic. The Japan Foundation is offering scholarships for master students in the field of Sustainability at United Nations University Institute. The scholarship is open for outstanding applicants from developing countries who can demonstrate a need for financial assistance. The JFUNU scholarship covers the full tuition fees and provides a monthly allowance of 150,000 JPY for living expenses for a maximum of 24 months. Applicants who want to pursue a second master’s degree at UNU-ISP are not eligible for the scholarship. 28th February 2014 is the application deadline.
