On October 14th, Thai Nguyen University played host to the "Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition 2023," a significant event marked by the participation of 44 leading universities from Taiwan.

Distinguished attendees included Mr. Lam Dich Dan, Deputy Chief Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam, and Mr. Chang Tsun Wei, Vice Rector of Hong Quoc Duc Lam University of Science and Technology. Representative of Thai Nguyen University was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Van, Vice President of the University, leaders from the Thai Nguyen Department of Education and Training and a large number of students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Van, Vice President of  TNU, in his opening remarks, said that the event was an annual fixture, jointly organized by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi and Thai Nguyen University. He noted that this year's exhibition saw the highest participation of Taiwanese universities ever.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Van, Vice President of  TNU delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the Exhibition.

The exhibition served as a comprehensive source of information on various academic strengths, scholarship programs, research opportunities, and enrollment processes of the Taiwanese universities. Additionally, it provided guidance on application procedures and scholarships, aiding students in selecting suitable universities and addressing their queries.

Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition 2023 attracted large participation of students

Vietnam, being the country with the largest number of students in Taiwan, nearly 24,000, reflects the strong educational ties between the two regions. The Taiwanese educational authorities annually offer numerous long-term scholarships and Chinese language study grants to Vietnamese students. Notably, there has been an increasing trend of students and researchers from Thai Nguyen opting for educational opportunities in Taiwan

 The 2023 Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition not only functioned as an informative event for prospective students but also played a pivotal role in fostering cooperative relationships and joint educational programs between Thai Nguyen University and Taiwanese universities, enhancing academic exchanges and student transitions.
