TNU University of Technology celebrates its 50th Anniversary of tradition

On August 19th, TNU - University of Technology celebrated the 50th Foundation Anniversary. At the anniversary, there were presence of Mr. Pham Gia Khiem - former Deputy Prime Minister, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, alumnus of the University; Mrs. Ma Thi Nguyet – Vice Chairwoman of Thai Nguyen People’s Committee; Prof. Dang Kim Vui- President of Thai Nguyen University; representatives of educational institutions , enterprises, former and current officers, lecturers and students of TNU - University of Technology.

The anniversary was a chance for lectures and students of TNU - University of Technology to reminisce about their university’s tradition.

During 50 years of development, TNU - University of Technology has kept growing and developing. Although there was a lot of difficulties from the very first day, thanks to the strong will and initiative of many generations of lecturers and students of the university, it not only got over the hardships, but also consolidated and affirmed its position and mission as a university that “served” efficiently in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country. As a result, TNU - University of Technology has been highly appreciated and given many precious awards by Vietnamese Communist Party and Vietnamese government, particularly the “Hero of Labor” title.
