The workshop on "Improving teaching quality of universities in the Northwest" is part of the Vietnam-Australia Human Resources Development Program for the period 2016-2020, aimed at supporting Viet Nam to enhance the level of expertise, technology, as well as to improve the skills and competitiveness of human resources in the country.

At the workshop, delegates focused on discussions and ideas regarding coordination in leadership and management; the link between school curricula and practical needs; and the integration of ethnic minority students into each school and community. In the course of the workshop, the content and program of human resources cooperation will be supplemented and finalized, as well as the detailed plan for cooperation activities among Aus4Skills and  Thai Nguyen University, TNU University of Agriculture and Forestry, and Tay Bac University.  At the same time, it helped identify issues related to quality and quantity of curricula as well as scientific research, thereby meeting the demands for human resources of the market, contributing to development of economy of the North West region.
