On the morning of November 16^th, Thai Nguyen University and James Cook University, Australia held a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony marking the first step for cooperation in training and research between the two Universities.

James Cook University (JCU) located in Townsville, Queensland, Australia is ranked in the top 300 universities in the world (according to Times Higher Education University Rankings 2022 and Academic Ranking of World Universities 2021). The university has many campuses in these cities such as Cairns, Townsville and in Singapore. JCU is famous for science majors including Marine Science, Ecology, Medicine, Engineering, Tourism Management and Environmental Science. James Cook University has established many international collaborations with universities and research organizations worldwide. This is a reputable university with modern learning environment and diverse training programs.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Van, Vice President of Thai Nguyen University, expressed his honor when Thai Nguyen University became a partner of James Cook University.

With the goal of expanding international cooperation and opening opportunities for collaboration, Thai Nguyen University and JCU held a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two sides to cooperate and exchange joint training program with common majors between the two sides. In addition, the two universities will organize conferences and seminars, share professional experience in training management, scientific research and some exchange activities.
