Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam (China) visited and worked at Thai Nguyen University
On December 22nd, the delegation of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam (China) led by Mr. Chu Dam Minh, Head of the Education Department, visited and worked at Thai Nguyen University. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Hung, President of Thai Nguyen University (TNU) held a meeting with Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and leaders of Science technology and Foreign Affairs Department, Director of the Center for Training, Fostering and Human Resource Development representatives of the University of Huddersfield (UK) to connect and discuss potential cooperation in the future.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Hung, President of Thai Nguyen University, thanked the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (China) for giving conditions and supporting TNU in 2023 and orienting the development of cooperative relations in 2024 in terms of mutual cooperation, development, respecting the interests and rights of both parties.

Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (China), Mr. Chu Da Minh, head of the education department, proposed some common cooperation goals such as creating favorable opportunities for students of Thai Nguyen University to study Chinese and access information of Taiwanese education as well as Taiwanese students have opportunities to study at Thai Nguyen University.

In addition, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (China) also proposed international training cooperation, international joint training programs such as master's programs and PhD programs. in Taiwan (China); exam program for TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) certificate.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides discussed and selected a suitable time in 2024 to implement cooperation contents in the future.
