Thai Nguyen University Enhances Scientific and Technological Activities and International Cooperation
On January 30th, Thai Nguyen University (TNU) held a conference to summarize achievements and award individuals and groups with outstanding contributions to science and technology (S&T) activities and international cooperation in 2023.
Throughout the year, TNU successfully carried out over 690 S&T tasks, including national-level projects, ministry-level programs, provincial-level topics, university-level, and institution-level studies. Additionally, TNU intensified its international cooperation efforts, exchanging and signing 44 memorandums of understanding and agreements on training, research, technology transfer, as well as faculty and student exchanges with various partners.
During the year, TNU welcomed and engaged with over 1,050 visitors from South Korea, Taiwan (China), Laos, Japan, the Philippines, Germany, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand to sign and implement cooperation agreements. Furthermore, the university organized for 307 individuals to travel abroad for work, study, attend international conferences, or participate in projects. Among these, 177 students undertook professional internships abroad, and 130 individuals went for academic purposes, international seminars, or project implementation in foreign countries. This comprehensive engagement underscores TNU's commitment to enhancing its international profile, fostering global educational and research partnerships, and contributing significantly to the development of S&T and international collaboration.
