On the morning of January 5th, scholars from four U.S. universities, led by Mr. Ron Carver - an American peace activist and member of the Policy Research Institute (Washington D.C., USA), visited Thai Nguyen University.

During the meeting, the scholars introduced the book "Waging Peace in Vietnam: US Soldiers and Veterans Who Opposed the War." The book aims to convey a message of friendship, reconciliation, and healing of war wounds from American veterans, promoting peace, friendship, and cooperation with the people of Vietnam to the young generation and the Vietnamese public.
